He turned to the old woman, who looked up at him and smiled.

"Are you part of the Trinity?" she asked.

"No, I'm new. Call me Paragon."

Her smile widened. "All right, I will. Thank you, Paragon."

Paragon nodded and walked away, feeling good about himself. He had really become the hero Eros City needed. Now he needed to bring back the Trinity, and Heavenly Hawk was the first step in that direction.

Once again, he wished he had a Paragon-Jet or something like that as he made his way through the quiet city. The Financial District wasn't too far, but he would have to cut through the park, and he didn't think he could get a taxi or even Uber with the curfew. He'd have to travel on foot.

He jogged down the street, keeping an eye out for more gang members, but the streets were quiet. His own boots striking the asphalt made most of the noise, along with crickets chirping in the night.

It would take him forever to get to the Wreckers at this rate. He started running faster, trying to pace himself. But he kept going faster and faster and didn't even breathe harder. He kept on pushing, and found he ran at a speed he'd never imagined without even trying. He wished he had a car to measure his speed against, but he guessed twenty miles per hour, easily.

"Dahlia," he called out as he ran, "how am I doing this?"

She said, "You are rated at a Level Two speed which is comparable to an Olympic-level runner."

As if to make her point, his stats appeared in front of him.
